This 4-gas calibration mixture is used to verify the performance and response accuracy of portable multi-gas detectors used in industrial safety, confined space monitoring, and environmental hazard detection.
The mixture contains Hydrogen Sulfide (H₂S) 25 PPM, Carbon Monoxide (CO) 50 PPM, Methane (CH₄) 1.62% (50% LEL LPG equivalent), and Oxygen (O₂) 17.0%, balanced with nitrogen. The reduced oxygen concentration is commonly used to confirm detector response to oxygen-deficient atmospheric conditions, a critical safety check for confined space entry programs.
This calibration gas is supplied in a 60L disposable aluminum cylinder pressurized to 1000 PSI, providing a balanced capacity option for routine calibration tasks performed by safety technicians and industrial hygiene teams.
The C-10 valve connection allows compatibility with common calibration regulators used with portable gas detection instruments.
