8" Explosion-Proof Axial Blower with Compact Canister & 25ft EX Ducting Kit
This 8-inch axial explosion-proof ventilation blower kit pairs a compact detachable canister with 25ft of statically conductive ducting for safe, portable airflow in hazardous and confined-space environments. Its lightweight polyethylene housing resists corrosion, UV exposure, and chemical attack, while delivering quiet performance ideal for job-site operations.
The blower features a nine-blade polypropylene impeller, a powder-coated steel safety grill, and a molded carry handle for easy transport. Power comes from a single-phase explosion-proof electric motor that is UL Listed and CSA Certified, complete with a NEMA-rated 115V plug. An enclosed bottom compartment protects electrical components during use and storage.
A tool-free quick-connect clipping system allows crews to attach the compact canister to either the intake side for extraction or the discharge side for ventilation—providing flexible airflow control for tank cleaning, vault entry, and hazardous-location maintenance.
This system meets Class I, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups C & D and Class II, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups F & G Hazardous Location requirements.
