8" Explosion-Proof Axial Blower with Canister & 50ft EX Ducting Kit
This 8-inch axial explosion-proof ventilation blower kit includes a rugged plastic blower housing, detachable canister, and 50ft of statically conductive ducting for safe airflow in hazardous and confined-space environments. Designed for portability and reliability, the lightweight polyethylene construction resists corrosion, UV exposure, and chemical attack while maintaining quiet operation for job-site comfort.
The blower features a nine-blade polypropylene fan, a powder-coated steel grill, and a molded carry handle for easy transport. Its explosion-proof single-phase electric motor is UL Listed and CSA Certified, equipped with a NEMA-rated 115V plug for dependable field deployment. An enclosed base protects electrical components during operation and storage.
A tool-free quick-connect clipping system allows crews to attach the canister to either the intake side for extraction or the discharge side for ventilation—delivering flexible airflow control during confined-space entry, tank cleaning, and hazardous-area maintenance.
This system meets Class I, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups C & D and Class II, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups F & G Hazardous Location requirements.
