Product Description
25mm Asbestos Air Sampling Cassette with 0.4µm PC + 5.0µm MCE – TEM & PCM
Zefon 25mm air sampling cassettes are engineered for regulated asbestos fiber monitoring using transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and phase contrast microscopy (PCM) methods. Manufactured in-house under rigorous quality systems, each cassette is injection-molded, individually assembled, serialized, and tested to support defensible clearance and exposure results for environmental consultants and industrial hygiene laboratories.
This configuration combines a 0.4µm polycarbonate (PC) primary filter with a 5.0µm mixed cellulose ester (MCE) backup filter, housed in a three-piece static-conductive cassette and packaged 50 per box, preloaded and field-ready.

Regulatory Compliance
• Meets NIOSH 7400 & 7402
• Meets OSHA ID-160
• Meets AHERA requirements (TEM Model Z045BA)
• Designed for asbestos PCM & TEM analysis
Independent Quality Verification
Every cassette undergoes 100% inspection to confirm correct filter and pad placement and to ensure no parchment paper remains inside the unit.
Each production lot is independently verified through laboratory blank testing to confirm acceptable background fiber counts per NIOSH standards.
Daily random-lot sampling provides additional confidence for consultants, laboratories, and abatement contractors. Documentation is available upon request.
Why TEM-Configured Dual-Filter Cassettes Matter
• Required for AHERA clearance sampling
• Supports defensible post-abatement reports
• Reduces costly resampling
• Trusted by environmental laboratories
• Ideal for school and commercial asbestos surveys
